Lake Success, New York, December 19, 2003....Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE - PKE) announced that Vito A. Tanzi has joined the company as Product Director effective December 15, 2003. Mr. Tanzi will be responsible for management of a portion of the company's current FR-4 epoxy and advanced technology products. Mr. Tanzi will coordinate product development activities from research and development project criteria identification through product commercialization. Mr. Tanzi will be working cooperatively with Anthony DiGaudio, Park's Product Director, to accelerate time to market for advanced product and process technologies. Mr. Tanzi will report to Steve Schaefer, the company's Senior Vice President, Technology.

Mr. Tanzi has over 10 years of process engineering and operations management experience in thin film interconnect technology for high frequency RF/microwave applications. Most recently, he served as Plant Manager for Aeroflex MIC Technology Corporation, Thin Film Division. Mr. Tanzi received a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1992.
