New York, August 5, 2002....Park
Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE
- PKE) announced the election of M. Teresa Truppi as President
of New England Laminates Co., Inc. ("Nelco
New York"), Park's high technology volume printed circuit
material business located in Newburgh, New York. Ms. Truppi will
succeed John Jongebloed in that capacity and will report to Brian
E. Shore, Park's President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Jongebloed
also serves as Senior Vice President, Global Logistics of Park Electrochemical
Corp. and will continue to serve in that capacity and report to
Brian E. Shore.

Ms.
Truppi has held senior operations positions at DMC² Corporation,
a wholly owned subsidiary of Degussa AG, where she was Vice
President, Global Operations for the Electronic Materials division
from 1996 to 2000 and Executive Vice President since that time,
at Alphatec USA/Indy Electronics, where she was Vice President
of Operations from 1993 to 1995, and previously at Advanced
Micro Devices where she held a manufacturing logistics management
position. Ms. Truppi received a Bachelor of Science degree in
chemical engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology
in 1983 and a Master of Business Administration degree from
The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1989. |
