LAKE SUCCESS,
New York, September 8, 2000…Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE-PKE)
announced the appointment of Edward J. Reardon as Vice President
- Research and Development. Dr. Reardon will be responsible for
the company's global research and development activities and will
have central leadership responsibilities relating to the company's
technology roadmap. Mr. Reardon will report to Tom Spooner, the
company's Senior Vice President - Technology.
Mr. Reardon
has held a number of senior research and development and technology
positions in the electronics interconnect industry. In recent years,
Mr. Reardon served as Vice President, Technical Operations, of Morton
Electronic Materials Group and Senior Technical Fellow and Director,
Advanced Materials, of Shipley Ronal division of Rohm and Haas,
Inc. Mr. Reardon received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry
from Brown University in 1965 and a Ph.D in Organic Chemistry from
Seton Hall University in 1969. Mr. Reardon was an NIH Postdoctoral
Fellow at Indiana University from 1969 to 1970. Mr. Reardon was
a Postdoctoral Associate at University of North Carolina from 1969
to 1972 and a Visiting Professor of Chemistry at Bucknell University
from 1972 to 1973.
