LAKE SUCCESS,
New York, October 3, 2000…Park
Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE-PKE)
announced the appointment of Carl J. Fiore as Corporate Controller
of the company.
Mr. Fiore held
a number of senior financial positions at LeaRonal, Inc. from 1985
through January, 1999, at which point LeaRonal was acquired by Rohm
and Haas Company. Mr. Fiore's most recent position at LeaRonal was
Corporate Controller. Prior to its sale, LeaRonal was a public company
specializing in the development, manufacturing and sale of specialty
chemicals for the electronics and metal finishing industries. Subsequent
to LeaRonal's acquisition by Rohm and Haas, Mr. Fiore has managed
the Shipley Ronal accounting function at the Freeport, New York
facility. Prior to joining LeaRonal in 1985, Mr. Fiore was an audit
supervisor with the accounting firm of Ernst & Young. Mr. Fiore
received a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Hofstra University
in 1966. Mr. Fiore is a Certified Public Accountant.

Corp. is a leading designer and producer of advanced electronic
materials used to fabricate complex multilayer printed circuit boards
